The club's leading match pointed pairs event. There are 10 heats, held on the first Wednesday of the month between June and March. The highest total of best 7 scores wins. £30 prize for winners, £20 for 2nd, £10 for highest non-expert pair (no Regional Master or higher, as at 1 June) outside the top two.

Teams Championship - sponsored by Lloyd & Whyte, Insurance brokers
Teams of four championship. 10 heats, held on the last Wednesday of the month between May and March (but no December heat). Best 7 scores count. £40 prize for winning team. £20 non-expert prize for highest placed team with no more than two players ranked Regional Master or above OR with two players below the rank of Master.

Pivot Teams - sponsored by Lloyd & Whyte, Insurance brokers
A teams competition involving switching of partners during the evening. It runs from June to March with the best 7 from 10 results counting. Usually on the third Wednesday but check calendar. £40 prize for winners.

Peterborough Pairs
Two session pairs event on the consecutive Wednesdays in March or April, with each session counting 50%.

Committee Cup
Butler scored (IMP) pairs event held on the second or third Wednesday of the month between May and April. Best 5 from 9 rounds to count.

Handicap Trophy
Each result will be adjusted by applying player’s individual handicaps, which are based on recent club results. The competition is won by the player with the best total of 5 from 10 scores.

Single session pairs competition, held annually.

Gentle Pairs - sponsored by Alpine Bridge, ski and bridge holidays
A light hearted competition for our less experienced players. The format is Duplicate Pairs with Match Pointed Scoring and will be held on the first or second Monday of each month between June and April. There will be up to 10 sessions in total and each round will consist of 18 to 21 Boards depending on numbers, with the best 5 scores counting. £20 prize for winners.

Improvers Cup
Awarded to the player with the biggest average percentage increase over the previous year. Minimum of 20 scores.

Cambridgeshire League
Peterborough enter several teams in the Cambs & Hunts League. Teams of 4.

NICKO and Garden Cities
Teams will be entered for the NICKO (National Inter Club Knockout) and the Garden Cities (county team of 8 qualifier). Details will be posted on the notice board.
