| History |
| Peterborough Bridge Club was founded on 16 May 1956 at the museum. In 1961 PBC affiliated to the EBU and in 1962 to the new Northants association. Master points were first issued in 1966. The club was incorporated as a limited company in 1985 and moved to the present premises in 1986. In June 2007 the club transferred to the Cambs & Hunts association. |

| From 1 Jan half price. Subscriptions are due 1 April. Associate membership available for Thursday afternoon and the Monday gentle duplicate. Subscriptions must be paid before entering any of the club competitions, otherwise the results will not be counted. |
| Substitutes are permitted in team competitions but players must have been full members for at least the previous 28 days (except the first time that a team plays in the competition). |

| Permitted Conventions |
| Monday Gentle duplicate and Thursday afternoon are restricted to level 2, otherwise level 4 conventions are permitted in club events. See the Orange Book 2006 for details and the annual Members Diary for updates. |
