Committee Cup
Second or Third Wednesday of each month, May to April (not every month)
IMP pairs competition. Best 6 results from 9 or 10 rounds to count. For full results click on 'Results', above. From 2008-09 this competition moves to Wednesdays, usually the second Wednesday of the month but check calendar.

Handicap Trophy
Third or fourth Monday of the month, June to April, except December.
Each result will be adjusted by applying player’s individual handicaps, which are based on recent club results. The competition is won by the player with the best total of 7 from 10 scores. For full results click on 'Results', above. This competition replaces the Multi-Partner Pairs.

Gentle Pairs
Second or third Monday of the month between June and March.
A new light hearted competition for our less experienced players. Duplicate Pairs with Match Pointed Scoring. Each round will consist of 18 to 21 Boards depending on table numbers. The best 5 scores out of 8 will determine the winners. For full results click on 'Results', above.

| Visitors are most welcome. Monday night is always pairs and a spare partner is available, so you are welcome to turn up. Less experienced players may choose the gentle duplicate competition. We also play on Wednesday evening, Thursday afternoon and two Saturday evenings a month. See programme for full details. |
